Burnley goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell has been named in new Northern Ireland manager Ian Baraclough's first squad.

Three days after extending his contract at Burnley to the summer of 2024, with the option for a further year, Peacock-Farrell is part of a 26-strong squad for next month’s UEFA Nations League matches against Romania and Norway.

Baraclough, who took over in June, will face his first games in charge in Bucharest against Romania on September 4th before returning to Belfast to take on Norway at the National Football Stadium at Windsor Park on the 7th.

Northern Ireland are in League B Group 1, with Austria the fourth nation involved.

Peacock-Farrell, who is yet to make his Burnley debut, has 13 caps for his country.

Also included in the squads is former Clarets striker Kyle Lafferty, whosigned for Serie B club Reggina last month.
