With the help of the generosity of local people the raffle raised a much-needed £680 towards the cost of next summer’s visit. Particular thanks go to Booths who once again very kindly allowed us to sell tickets at the Clitheroe supermarket over two days just before Christmas.

FOCC is a charity that brings children over from Belarus for a month each summer providing them with respite from the on-going effects of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant disaster. If you would like to get involved with our charity please do get in touch. We particularly need new volunteers to help with fund-raising and are also hoping to recruit a new host family who could take care of a young Belarussian boy for a month this coming summer.
