Leicester City v Burnley RECAP: Boss Sean Dyche provides transfer update after defeat at the King Power Stadium

For the first time in four seasons Sean Dyche's side opened their Premier League campaign with defeat.

Despite taking the lead through Chris Wood's strike in the 10th minute, the visitors went on to lose for only a second time in nine away games in the top flight.

Jimmy Dunne also scored on his Premier League bow to get Burnley back into the game in the second half, but they failed to find an equaliser.

The Foxes, who have now avoided defeat in their last 10 home games against Burnley, drew level through Harvey Barnes.

An Erik Pieters own goal and further strikes from James Justin and Dennis Praet helped the hosts get home and dry.

Sean Dyche was dealt another blow when Irish winger Robbie Brady went off holding his ribs as captain Ben Mee, Johann Berg Gudmundsson, Jack Cork, Ashley Barnes and James Tarkowski all missed out through injury.
