Burnley v Wolves confirmed XIs and team news
Hjalmar Ekdal has been given the nod at centre back for Burnley’s clash against Wolves tonight.
The Swedish international comes in for Anel Ahmedhodzic, who misses out with concussion following his collision with Gregoire Coudert during Tuesday night’s draw with Charlton Athletic.
The centre-back will now serve a 12-day concussion protocol, meaning he’ll also miss next weekend’s trip to Lincoln City.
It’s the only change from the midweek 2-2 draw with the Addicks, where Nicky Hayen’s side squandered the chance to pick up their first home league win in 360 days.
If the Clarets fail to pick up three points tonight, it means an entire year will have passed since the last time they won a league game at Turf Moor.
Dastan Satpayev returns to the bench, having been unavailable to face Charlton on Tuesday at the behest of his parent club Chelsea.
Ben Amos, Jordan Beyer, Bashir Humphreys, Shurandy Sambo, Josh Cullen, Hannibal, Aaron Ramsey, Jaydon Banel, Mike Tresor, Zeki Amdouni, Ashley Barnes and Michael Obafemi all remain unavailable.
As for Wolves, they make six changes from their midweek defeat to Bolton Wanderers, with star strikers Adam Armstrong and Raul Jimenez both out, meaning young striker Sean Neave starts in attack.
Former Claret Kieran Trippier only makes the bench.
