Big name dropped as Burnley make five changes for Middlesbrough clash

Kyle Walker dropped as Burnley change things up for Boro clash

Kyle Walker has been dropped from Burnley’s starting XI as Nicky Hayen changes things up for tonight’s clash against Middlesbrough.

The Clarets boss makes five changes from Saturday’s horror show against Norwich City, with Walker making way following a poor display at Carrow Road.

Max Alleyne and Aaron Ramsey also drop down to the bench, while Josh Laurent misses out through suspension.

Zian Flemming, meanwhile, is the other name to drop out of the side that struggled against Norwich following his deadline day move to Ipswich Town.

Hjalmar Ekdal, Oliver Sonne, Ugo Raghouber and Zeki Amdouni all come into the starting XI, while Andreas Hountondji is the man to lead the line ahead of Armando Broja.

Largie Ramazani is the only of Burnley’s three deadline day arrivals to feature, with Igor Julio and Reo Hatate not registered in time.

Lucas Pires misses out through concussion protocol once again following his accidental clash of heads against Bradford City, while Jordan Beyer, Bashir Humphreys, Josh Cullen, Enock Agyei, Jaydon Banel and Ashley Barnes all remain sidelined.

As for Boro, they make three changes from their weekend win over West Brom.
