FA Cup LIVE: Burnley 1 MK Dons 1 (Burnley win 4-3 on penalties)

Burnley are into the fourth round of the FA Cup after overcoming MK Dons in a penalty shootout at Turf Moor.

It was looking as though the League One side would prevail as they held a 1-0 lead with just seconds remaining.

Cameron Jerome had given the away side a shock lead against the run of play in the 29th minute when planting his header into the corner.

However, Matej Vydra drew Burnley level with the last kick of the game when sliding the ball beyond Lee Nicholls from Robbie Brady's set-piece.

Vydra missed the home side's first penalty in the shootout, but Dale Stephens, Josh Benson, Matt Lowton and Phil Bardsley all converted.

Regan Poole, Joe Mason and Scott Fraser scored from the spot for the away side, but debutant goalkeeper Will Norris denied Lasse Sorensen and Ben Gladwin.
