Burnley player ratings as goal-scorer Taylor Harwood-Bellis and midfielder Jack Cork impress in 1-1 draw against PNE
The Clarets took a 10th minute lead when Manchester City starlet climbed highest to guide Josh Brownhill’s corner past goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.
However, the away side’s lead was short-lived and the Lilywhites were level just five minutes later.
Brad Potts’ header from a Robbie Brady set-piece proved problematic and Jordan Storey profited from Arijanet Muric’s slip to force the ball over the line despite the best efforts of Josh Cullen.
The visitors continued to control the game and pressed for a winner, but failed to find another way through the Championship’s meanest defence.
Here are the ratings.

5. Vitinho 6.5
Restored to the side at the expense of Ian Maatsen, but failed to match the impact he had in games against Wigan Athletic and Millwall. Tried to get forward in support at every given opportunity, drawing an early foul and booking from Ali McCann, and might have done better with a first half opening. The Brazilian failed to connect properly with a Jay Rodriguez pass as Josh Brownhill arrived unmarked on the edge of the six-yard box. Photo: Lewis Storey

6. Jack Cork 8
A masterful performance from the Burnley midfielder. Recovered possession well to ensure the visitors continued to dominate the ball, while negating any threats from PNE on the counter, carried the ball through the lines confidently and used it intelligently. Tested Freddie Woodman with a first half drive from outside the box. Photo: CameraSport - Richard Martin-Roberts

7. Josh Cullen 7
Oozes confidence and class with the ball at his feet and his ability to take two or three opposing players out of the equation with a single pass is a real art form. Couldn't quite get to the ball in time to prevent Jordan Storey's header from crossing the line for the equaliser. Photo: CameraSport - Richard Martin-Roberts

8. Manuel Benson 6.5
Adds an element of excitement to the game when able to isolate his marker in a one v one, but a little more work is needed on his end product. His pace and direct approach is a real asset, though you feel he'd be better utilised on the opposite side of the pitch, rather than coming inside. The Belgian forward brushed the side-netting with a fine effort in the second half. Photo: Lewis Storey
