Burnley player ratings as goal-scorer Taylor Harwood-Bellis and midfielder Jack Cork impress in 1-1 draw against PNE
The Clarets took a 10th minute lead when Manchester City starlet climbed highest to guide Josh Brownhill’s corner past goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.
However, the away side’s lead was short-lived and the Lilywhites were level just five minutes later.
Brad Potts’ header from a Robbie Brady set-piece proved problematic and Jordan Storey profited from Arijanet Muric’s slip to force the ball over the line despite the best efforts of Josh Cullen.
The visitors continued to control the game and pressed for a winner, but failed to find another way through the Championship’s meanest defence.
Here are the ratings.

A highly promising debut for the former Charleroi forward. Showed real intelligence with his off-the-ball runs, allowing his team-mates to pick out the space in the inside channels, and put the ball into the danger area a number of times during his cameo. A bright prospect for Burnley, who seems to carry a potent attacking threat. Photo: Andy Ford/Burnley FC

14. Ian Maatsen 6
The Chelsea loanee was only afforded around 10 minutes at Deepdale, including stoppage time, but made a real impact when replacing Manuel Benson. Plenty of energy, which caused problems as PNE weakened, causing the hosts to be pinned in outside their own penalty area in the closing stages of the derby. Photo: CameraSport - Dave Howarth
