Burnley FC transfer news: West Ham express interest in Clarets full-back, Vincent Kompany eyes Rangers forward
Here is all of today’s Championship transfer news.
Burnley discovered their Carabao Cup second round opponents as the draw was complete last night.
The Clarets will face a trip to Shrewsbury Town later this month - not long after facing them in pre-season where they came out 3-1 winners, thanks to goals from Samuel Bastien, Bobby Thomas and Ne-Jai Tucker.
The Championship club haven’t faced Shrewsbury since a defeat in Division 2 way back in April 1997 and last faced them in the League Cup in a thrilling 5-0 victory 56 years ago.
The match is scheduled to take place the week commending Monday 22nd August.
