Burnley served up a gutless display to lose heavily to Lincoln City on Saturday - a result that proved to be the final straw for Nicky Hayen.
The Clarets now find themselves without a head coach after opting to axe the Belgian following yesterday’s 4-1 defeat.
Despite taking the lead, Burnley simply wilted after being pegged back in first-half injury time - meaning they’ve now lost 18 points from winning positions this season.
It leaves the Clarets in 22nd place in the Championship, three points from safety.
Here’s how Burnley’s players rated:

5. Lucas Pires - 5/10
Claimed the assist for Hountondji’s goal with his corner going through everyone, but his defending left a lot to be desired too. | Kelvin Lister-Stuttard

6. Max Alleyne - 4/10
Had early effort cleared off the line following a clever short corner, but at fault for one of the Lincoln goals. | Kelvin Lister-Stuttard

7. Reo Hatate - 4/10
Barely noticed him, which is perhaps the worst criticism you can have in a game like this. | Kelvin Lister-Stuttard

8. Josh Laurent - 4/10
Another one that struggled to get in the game whatsoever. You wonder if Hayen's departure will now end the number 10 experiment. | Kelvin Lister-Stuttard
