Burnley served up a gutless display to lose heavily to Lincoln City on Saturday - a result that proved to be the final straw for Nicky Hayen.
The Clarets now find themselves without a head coach after opting to axe the Belgian following yesterday’s 4-1 defeat.
Despite taking the lead, Burnley simply wilted after being pegged back in first-half injury time - meaning they’ve now lost 18 points from winning positions this season.
It leaves the Clarets in 22nd place in the Championship, three points from safety.
Here’s how Burnley’s players rated:

1. Gregoire Coudert - 4/10
Failed to command his box for Lincoln’s equaliser, allowing the ball to bounce twice. It went from bad to worse from there. | Kelvin Lister-Stuttard
2. Kyle Walker - 4/10
Hooked off at half time after switching off at the back post for Lincoln’s equaliser. Looked uncomfortable whenever pressed in possession. | Kelvin Stuttard Video & Photography

3. Hjalmar Ekdal - 4/10
Struggled to deal with Lincoln’s tall striker all afternoon and was part of some horrific Burnley defending, who failed to deal with balls into their box time and time again. | Kelvin Lister-Stuttard

4. Igor Julio - 4/10
As above really. Looked shook up every time the ball went long into Lincoln’s tall striker. His worst display to date. | Kelvin Lister-Stuttard
