Burnley served up a gutless display to lose heavily to Lincoln City on Saturday - a result that proved to be the final straw for Nicky Hayen.
The Clarets now find themselves without a head coach after opting to axe the Belgian following yesterday’s 4-1 defeat.
Despite taking the lead, Burnley simply wilted after being pegged back in first-half injury time - meaning they’ve now lost 18 points from winning positions this season.
It leaves the Clarets in 22nd place in the Championship, three points from safety.
Here’s how Burnley’s players rated:

13. SUB: Connor Roberts - 5/10
For Walker, 46 Replaced Walker after his poor defending, only to commit the same crime within minutes of the restart. | Kelvin Lister-Stuttard

14. SUB: Oliver Sonne - 5/10
For Satpayev, 59 Failed to make any impression, although it made no sense why Hayen opted to replace Satpayev with a defender in the first place. | Kelvin Lister-Stuttard
15. SUB: Ugo Raghouber - 5/10
For Alleyne, 74 Don’t recall him having too much impact either way, but the game was already lost by then. | Kelvin Stuttard Video & Photography

16. SUB: Marcus Edwards - 4/10
For Hatate, 74 Took the ball off Hountondji for the penalty only to see it saved. Showed poor attitude whenever he lost the ball too. | Kelvin Lister-Stuttard
