Burnley manager Scott Parker would not be drawn over any possible incomings or outgoings when the Janaury transfer window opens in the new year.

The coach said he was not thinking about January when pressed over whether there would be any transfers in or out of his squad, which currently sits in third place in the Championship table.

Burnley have been linked with a number of players in recent years, in particular exciting Irish prospect, Brighton forward Evan Ferguson on loan.

Parker said: “It’s not something I want to engage in at this present moment in time. I have absolutely no eye on January.

“My main focus is on this team, where we are and how well we’re doing and keep deveoping this group of players. Lots of areas where we need to keep working and being relentless.

“January is a long way away. We may do something we may not do anything.”
