Colne Town Council’s portfolio of playgrounds was reviewed which identified a large amount of improvement works needed to be undertaken to improve them with surfaces as well as equipment replaced where needed.

In February 2020 Colne Town Council went out to consultation to borrow £160,000 towards a playground improvements project around Colne and the loan was accepted for the town council to take the project forward.
