Ribble Valley police are appealing for information after jewellery worth an estimated £4,000 was stolen during a burglary.

Police said during the day on 28th March, the offender has entered a house in Mile Lane, Longridge, before searching a number of rooms and taking at least £4,000 of jewellery. It is thought that the occupant of the house was in at the time of the offence.

A police spokesman said: "Property taken includes three Pandora bracelets full with charms, a female Michael Kors rose gold watch, a silver Hugo Boss men's watch, and a black Armani men's watch. It is thought the suspect will have approached the property from John Smiths playing fields and have been watching the property for some time before entering."
