Covid vaccines: This is how many people have been vaccinated in Burnley

Since the UK’s vaccination programme started in December more than 25 million people have already received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.

Official figures from NHS England now reveal how many people have been vaccinated in neighbourhoods across the country.

In Burnley, 30,208 people had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine between December 8, 2020 and March 14, 2021.

The uptake varies across neighbourhoods though.

Here we reveal how many people have been vaccinated in each area of Burnley.

1. Central Burnley & Daneshouse

1,659 people have been vaccinated in Central Burnley & Daneshouse. This represents 23% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

2,498 people have been vaccinated in Barclay Hills & Trinity. This represents 36% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

1,800 people have been vaccinated in Bank Hall & Fulledge. This represents 38% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

1,929 people have been vaccinated in Queensgate. This represents 42% of people aged 16 and over in the area.
