Covid vaccines: This is how many people have been vaccinated in Burnley

Since the UK’s vaccination programme started in December more than 25 million people have already received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.

Official figures from NHS England now reveal how many people have been vaccinated in neighbourhoods across the country.

In Burnley, 30,208 people had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine between December 8, 2020 and March 14, 2021.

The uptake varies across neighbourhoods though.

Here we reveal how many people have been vaccinated in each area of Burnley.

9. Harle Syke & Lanehead

3,349 people have been vaccinated in Harle Syke & Lanehead. This represents 48% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

2,493 people have been vaccinated in Brunshaw & Brownside. This represents 51% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

2,917 people have been vaccinated in Habergham & Ightenhill. This represents 53% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

2,360 people have been vaccinated in Cliviger, Worsthorne & Lane Bottom. This represents 55% of people aged 16 and over in the area.
