Covid vaccines: This is how many people have been vaccinated in Burnley

Since the UK’s vaccination programme started in December more than 25 million people have already received their first dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.

Official figures from NHS England now reveal how many people have been vaccinated in neighbourhoods across the country.

In Burnley, 30,208 people had received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine between December 8, 2020 and March 14, 2021.

The uptake varies across neighbourhoods though.

Here we reveal how many people have been vaccinated in each area of Burnley.

5. Whittlefield & Rose Grove

2,129 people have been vaccinated in Whittlefield & Rose Grove. This represents 42% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

3,069 people have been vaccinated in Padiham. This represents 43% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

3,722 people have been vaccinated in Rose Hill & Burnley Wood. This represents 46% of people aged 16 and over in the area.

2,283 people have been vaccinated in Hapton & Lowerhouse. This represents 46% of people aged 16 and over in the area.
