Nelson Civic Ladies Choir, who hit all the right notes after raising £600 for Pendleside Hospice, will next be holding be a concert to raise money for Ukraine.

Following their successful summer concert which raised £600 for Pendleside Hospice, the choir’s next event will be a concert to raise money for Ukraine at St John's Methodist Church on Albert Road in Colne on Saturday October 15th at 2pm.

They will be supported at this event by Nelson Arion Male Voice Choir, both choirs are well known locally with members from all over the Pendle and Burnley area and it is a rare treat for music lovers to hear them sing together.

There is no ticket price for this event in the hope that people will donate what they can afford for this very worthy cause. Refreshments will be served.

The choir was formed in 1959 from a small number of sixteen year old girls who were members of the highly acclaimed Nelson Civic Junior Choir.
