Trinity's Nicolas sets new Queens Park best
Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic College student Nicolas Hennesey is a record breaker.
The Under 15 Clayton-le-Moors Harriers runner completed two laps of Queen’s Park, 2.5km, in nine minutes and 39 seconds to smash the record. “It was held by Tiernan Crorken, who was a good runner at school a couple of years ago and it’s proved tough to break,” said Nicolas.
Nicolas has just chalked up 50 Burnley Parkruns, with a personal best of 18:38, and represented Burnley, finishing 13th at the Lancashire Schools’ Cross Country Finals at Witton Park.
