The squad at Scott Parker’s disposal from September onwards was almost chalk and cheese to the one he inherited following his appointment in July.
A number of players expressed their desire to leave the club following relegation from the top flight, which was quickly followed by Vincent Kompany’s surprise switch to Bayern Munich.
In total, 17 players arrived during the summer window, while a further 21 departed – either permanently or on loan.
Those 21 players have experienced mixed campaigns this season, so we’ve decided to take a look at each player to see how they’ve performed since leaving Turf Moor.
Here’s the 21 in alphabetical order:

9. Dara Costelloe (loans to Accrington Stanley and Northampton Town)
Costelloe spent the first half of the season in East Lancashire with Accy, where he scored five times in 21 games. The 22-year-old then made the move up to League One, where he bagged a further six times in 15 games for the Cobblers. Photo: Pete Norton

10. Luke McNally (Bristol City)
The centre-back joined former Burnley teammate Scott Twine at Ashton Gate, where he helped Liam Manning's side reach the Championship play-offs, making 30 appearances and scoring three times. Photo: Dan Istitene

11. Michael Mellon (loans to Stockport County and Bradford City)
Mellon's game time at Stockport was derailed by a serious injury, which meant he only made four appearances. After recovering, the striker linked up with Bradford in January where he scored twice in 15 League Two games. Photo: Andrew Redington

12. Arijanet Muric (Ipswich Town)
The Kosovan began the season as Ipswich's number one, but was dropped following a number of high-profile gaffes. He currently has 19 appearances to his name this season. Photo: Justin Setterfield
