The squad at Scott Parker’s disposal from September onwards was almost chalk and cheese to the one he inherited following his appointment in July.
A number of players expressed their desire to leave the club following relegation from the top flight, which was quickly followed by Vincent Kompany’s surprise switch to Bayern Munich.
In total, 17 players arrived during the summer window, while a further 21 departed – either permanently or on loan.
Those 21 players have experienced mixed campaigns this season, so we’ve decided to take a look at each player to see how they’ve performed since leaving Turf Moor.
Here’s the 21 in alphabetical order:

5. Samuel Bastien (Fortuna Sittard)
After spending last season on loan in Turkey with Kasımpaşa, Bastien was allowed to leave permanently to join Dutch outfit Fortuna. The midfielder has made 23 appearances in the Eredivisie this season without scoring as Fortuna finished 10th. Photo: MIGUEL MEDINA

6. Sander Berge (Fulham)
The Norwegian midfielder has unsurprisingly been a regular under Marco Silva as Fulham continue to impress in the top flight. Berge has made 34 appearances in total, but has yet to score. Photo: ADRIAN DENNIS

7. Johann Berg Gudmundsson (Al-Orobah)
The curious case of JBG saw the Icelandic international return to Turf Moor just months after being released, only to be sold before the window closed. It was an opportunity Gudmundsson said he couldn't turn, playing for an Al-Orobah side that also features former West Ham defender Kurt Zouma. Al-Orobah are currently in the relegation zone. 8. Darko Churlinov (loan to Jagiellonia Białystok)
The Macedonian winger has enjoyed a strong season with the Polish outfit, helping them reach the latter stages of the UEFA Conference League, where they were edged out by Real Betis. He's made 38 appearances in total, scoring seven times. Photo: Clive Brunskill
