Tom joins Turf greats to play for England

Clarets captain Tom Heaton joined some of the great and the good of Burnley's past when he finally got his England chance against Australia on Friday night.

Some 42 years had passed since Martin Dobson’s fourth Three Lions cap against Yugoslavia back in 1974 with Heaton’s late debut, as an 87th-minute replacement for Fraser Forster against the Socceroos, seeing him become the latest name to join an illustrious list.
