Manchester City v Burnley RATINGS

For the fourth time in succession the Clarets were beaten 5-0 by Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Burnley were a goal down after just six minutes when Riyad Mahrez tucked the ball past debutant Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

The Algerian international netted his second of the afternoon at the midway point of the first half before Benjamin Mendy added a third when converting Kevin De Bruyne's cross just before the break.

Ferran Torres finished from close range to make it 4-0 in the 66th minute and Mahrez went on to complete his hat-trick when heading home substitute Phil Foden's delivery three minutes later.
