Speaking in a press conference, he said: "We have to have strong seasons to stay in the Premier League, it's a constant work for us.
"It's not an easy ride, and it isn't for anyone else, but certain clubs you think, even on a bad day you're going to be in the Premier League and win your fair share of games.
"Ours is a constant work in progress. I don't really overthink where it can go, this season I had full belief in this side being in the Premier League, and then we stay open-minded about what we can achieve.
