Burnley midfielder teams up with former Clarets coach at Barrow

Burnley midfielder Mace Goodridge has joined League 2 Barrow on loan to the end of the season

Goodridge, who joined the Clarets in July, 2018 after leaving Newcastle United, will link up with former Burnley Under 23s coach Michael Jolley at Holker Street

The 21-year-old, previously with Manchester City's youth set up, has signed up until the summer.

Yet to make his first team debut, after a string of impressive performances with the Under 23s, and a spell training with the first team, he made the bench at Spurs, in December 2019, and was also involved with the first team after lockdown with Project Restart.

He'll join team-mate Bobby Thomas.
