More details have started to surface as negotiations over the sale of Burnley Football Club continue to gather speed.
It has now become clear that a consortium, fronted by lawyer Chris Farnell and Egyptian businessman Mohamed El Kashashy, have emerged as the new favourites to purchase the club.
However, American sports investment company ALK Capital insist it is very much business as usual as they press on with negotiations with chairman Mike Garlick, with ongoing meetings still in the diary.
