The summer holidays are here, so if you’re looking for an affordable UK staycation, then you are in luck.
A new deal on Groupon is offering overnight stays at Pine Lake Resort in Carnforth from £54.50 per night, with accommodation available for couples, families and groups.
Located just outside the Lake District National Park, the resort is set around its own lake and features Scandinavian inspired accommodation, with options including studio apartments for two and two bedroom lodges sleeping up to six people.
The offer includes a minimum two night stay, with prices starting from £54.50 a night for a studio apartment, while larger lodges are available from £59.50 a night. Groupon says the deal is available on selected dates until 2027, subject to availability.
Guests can make use of the resort’s indoor swimming pool and fitness facilities, while the surrounding area offers easy access to walking routes, watersports and attractions across both Lancashire and the Lake District. The Victorian seaside village of Arnside, the Lune Valley and the Yorkshire Dales are all within easy reach.
Previous Groupon customer reviews have praised the lakeside setting, comfortable accommodation and friendly staff, with one guest describing it as a “beautiful” and “tranquil” break.
The deal is available through Groupon, although travellers should note that bookings can usually be cancelled up to 14 days before arrival. A refundable £100 security deposit is also required on arrival, and prices vary depending on travel dates.
