HER Majesty the Queen took to a narrow boat on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal on Wednesday morning.
In an historic visit as part of her Diamond Jubilee tour of the nation, the Queen was accompanied by Prince Philip and her son, Prince Charles, on the visit.
The Prince of Wales was showing his mother the industrial landscape of Burnley bordering the canal which he has pledged to help regenerate, creating new jobs and prospects for the area.
