Sight loss group enjoy canal cruise

The 30 members, escorts and volunteers from the group relaxed on a three hour canal cruise from Riley Green Horton.

Group founder Olive Western said: “We enjoyed lunch on board followed by afternoon tea in a local pub.

“Everyone had a lovely time. We are still looking for new members and volunteers.”

The group’s next day out will be to Towneley Hall and park in August for afternoon tea.
