The Ribble Valley festival, also known as the Mod Weekender, will take place from Friday, September 25th to Sunday, September 27th. The event will see hundreds of vintage & modern scooters ride into town, with more than 20 licensed venues, bars, and pubs holding free live music across Clitheroe town centre.

From 60's "Mod" classics to Northern Soul, R&B & Ska, venues taking part in the festival include the Waggon & Horses, Sobar, The Rose & Crown, The Alehouse and the Royal British Legion amongst others. Among the list of the names announced to perform so far include, From The Jam, featuring Russell Hastings at The Grand in Clitheroe, albeit that will be a ticketed event. Tickets for the show, which takes place on Saturday, September 26th, are available for £30 and includes support from Stil Life.

As is customary with the event, a ride-in will take place on Saturday, September 26th. This year will see the riders follow the same route as 2025, minus one change, and the ride-in will also be led by Andy Colbert of Ribble Valley M/Cycles.

The riders will meet up at The Ribchester Arms car park in Ribchester at 11am before leaving the car park at 12:30 and heading directly to Stonyhurst. From there, riders will pause the journey for 5-10 minutes to regroup before leaving Stonyhurst and continuing the journey into Clitheroe at 12:55pm. The riders will reach the town centre by 13:30pm, in time for Harv’s performance at The Rose & Crown.

There will be route signs and marshalls positioned at key points along the route, 90% of the roads are resurfaced, offering riders an opportunity for a relaxed ride into Clitheroe. However, in the event of bad weather, Colbert will determine whether to include the Stonyhurst part of the route or simply proceed straight into Clitheroe.
