Ribble Valley road closed after bridge collapse
A bridge on a main road leading in to Chatburn has collapsed after a lorry collided with it.
The lorry has collided with the bridge on Chatburn Road earlier this morning.
As such, police closed the road between Worston Road and Pimlico Link Road while the lorry is extricated.
A police spokesman said: "Please avoid the area for the time being and bear this in mind if your journey is due to take you this way."
