Thousands of fans turned out to cheer on the country’s best cyclists as they raced in Colne Grand Prix on Wednesday night.
Cumbrian Andrew Hawdon of Team Raleigh-GAC won the 12th edition of the race with a powerful sprint finish.
Before the main event, some of region’s best upcoming youngsters showed off their talent in the Future Stars Race which was followed by the Sprint for Success event attracting club riders from across the north.
