Welsh culture and St David's life celebrated at Chatburn nursing home
St David's Day was marked at The Manor House Nursing Home in Chatburn, with Welsh flags and bunting trimming the lounges.

The day is a celebration of both St David's life and the Welsh culture
Residents enjoyed flower arranging and the Welsh symbolic daffodils were displayed on the dining room tables.

A spokesman for the Manor House said: "The activities had a Welsh theme with a quiz, word search and the longest Welsh town name was used for an anagram. Fun was had trying to speak a little Welsh, which proved really difficult. Traditional Welsh lamb and leeks with all the trimmings were on the menu for the special day."
