The popular coffee outlet is one of 22 Starbucks establishments which reopened across the North-West yesterday (Friday) following the coronavirus lockdown.
Today, queues of people are waiting to get their coffee fix.
Starbucks closed all of its UK sites in March, after the Government-mandated lockdown was introduced, but announced it would open around 15% of its UK stores in the first phase of its reopening plans on May 11th. All stores will be operating with reduced opening hours and safety measures include:
Ongoing and regular hand washing with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
2m social distancing throughout the store
Upweighted cleaning with regular sanitisation of high touch point areas such as countertops
Plexi screens at pay points
Contactless payment only
All beverages served in paper cups
With the NHS still very much on the frontline, Starbucks stores across Britain will also be offering any Tall drink of their choice for free.
