Clitheroe church launches crafty scheme to make it through Lent in lockdown

Volunteers at Trinity Methodist Church and Community Hub are appealing for donations of small handmade flowers, painted eggs, knitted chicks, pom pom creatures and cotton wool lambs to decorate a large cross in the church building.

The plea issued is for this year’s Easter Sunday service which will be live streamed from the church.

Every Wednesday through Lent there’s also an invitation to take part in Crafternoons on Zoom for ideas and inspiration for things to make and do in lockdown.

The fun-filled sessions begin on Wednesday (February 17th) at 2-30pm and will be held every Wednesday until March 31st.
