Residents and the team at The Manor House in Chatburn marked the most romantic day of the year by receiving a red rose, card and Love Hearts sweets.

Valentine bunting, balloons and flags trimmed the lounges and red attire was worn. Everyone tucked into delicious heart-shaped biscuits, decorated cupcakes, strawberries and cream, all washed down with sparkling pink bubbly.

A spokesman said; "Everyone had a great time. Valentine’s chocolates proved great prizes for the lucky bingo winners. Social distancing and PPE failed to dampen the Valentine atmosphere."
