The Year 6 pupils at Saint Joseph's Park Hill School on Padiham Road in the town boasted a 100% pass rate in Maths and Writing, as well as a 93% pass rate in Reading and Spelling, Punctuation, and Grammar.

“This is a huge achievement," said head teacher Annette Robinson. "The children and their teacher, Mrs Hannah, have worked so hard. We are very pleased with the results and very proud of the children.”

The children are leaving school this week to head off to pastures new at various secondary schools, including Stonyhurst College, Westholme Senior School, Giggleswick Senior School, Blessed Trinity RC College, and Burnley High School.
