From our precious parks to the country's greatest ever fast bowler, here are 15 of the best, according to you.
13. Burnley Mechanics
This Grade II listed building has played host to some of the finest talent ranging from Sir Ian McKellen, The Osmonds, John Bishop, Alan Carr, Lee Nelson, Tim Vine, the stars of Strictly Come Dancing, and of course our fabulous local societies including Burnley Light Opera and Burnley Pantomime Society. 14. The Singing Ringing Tree
The Singing Ringing Tree has become a true Burnley landmark since it appeared atop the hills at Crown Point in 2006. Designed by architects Mike Tonkin and Anna Liu, the sculpture, made of galvanised steel pipes, produces a haunting hum when winds pick up. Photo: Neil Cross
15. Béné and Hot
The ‘golden nectar’ has been a favourite of Burnley locals since 1918, after soldiers of the East Lancashire Regiment, who were stationed at the birthplace of Bénédictine in Fécamp, Normandy, during the First World War, drank Bénédictine and hot water to keep them warm in the trenches. The regiment loved the tipple so much, they brought it home after the war, and we've been drinking Béné and Hot ever since. Burnley Miners' Club sells more of the French liqueur than anywhere else in the world - drinkers sinking around 1,000 bottles a year. Photo: Thomas Temple
