Unbiased reporting needed over fracking

Although natural gas extraction has many benefits to people, extracting it using fracking technologies currently has too many safety issues to be viable unless you don’t care how it affects other people as long as the gas companies involved make a profit.

I recently made my local councillor aware of my concerns over fracking and am involved in the campaign to stop fracking in my area as I am one of the people that will be negatively affected by it. Those negative effects are well documented, as are the acts of the gas companies to coerce or bribe their way to success in their ventures irrespective of the terrible toll on local communities.

I hope your paper is not willing to compromise its unbiased reporting with articles that encourage fracking, as this would mean you will lose many customers, as I will notify as many people as possible through social media and word of mouth, of such infractions and lack of responsibility or care towards your readership.
