Hospital parking ... a solution?

Until a definite decision is made and the current problem can be solved, would it not make sense to use the parking facilities at the old Clitheroe Hospital.

An accident is going to happen due to cars having to park on the main road near the new hospital.

After all the years of waiting for the new facility, it is very disappointing that the planning officers, in their wisdom, could not get it right.

Maybe the old hospital is going to be redeveloped, but in the meantime the site could be used for car parking to help prevent an accident.
