Barkers site needs resolving

The Clitheroe Advertiser and Times (October 2nd edition) had a whole column devoted to the debate over the former Barkers Nursery site.

After 10 years, this eyesore on one of the main roads into Clitheroe is still not resolved. Those responsible should not be allowed to get away with this delay any longer.

Surely housing takes priority over yet another supermarket, with which Clitheroe is very well served already, with every price range represented along with an excellent market?

If outline planning consent for apartments, houses and a nursing home is already in place, how is Aldi allowed to leapfrog these and come into the picture at all?
