Motorists asked to avoid scene of accident in Barnoldswick
Police dealing with a road traffic accident on Bracewell Lane/Gisburn Road in Barnoldswick are urging motorists to avoid the area and find an alternative route.

The plea was issued by police just after 8am today (Tuesday).
A spokesman for Colne and West Craven Police said: "We have a road closure due to a traffic collision on Bracewell Lane/Gisburn Road in Barnoldswick around Carr House Farm this morning. We will open it as soon as we can. In the meantime, please avoid the area and find an alternative route.
"Driving conditions are particularly difficult this morning, please take extra care and allow more time for your journey.
"We will update when the road is open."
