Transdev’s Karen Ryder is swopping her bus for a broomstick to raise money for charity before she flies off for the witching hour as the sun goes down.

The family fun day on Saturday runs from 10am until 4pm. There is no charge but donations in aid of Pendleside Hospice would be welcome.

Karen and her coven have cooked up Hallowe’en games, tricks and treats and a “Witch Hunt” on The Witch Way, the bus service between Burnley and Manchester.

The winner of the “Witch Hunt” will get two tickets to Scare Kingdom Scream Park, and there will be more prizes for runners up.

To be in with a chance of winning, bus passengers are tasked with finding the witch, taking a selfie and posting it to Twitter using @burnleybuses and the hashtag #Witchselfie.
