Girl (4) seriously hurt in car accident
The air ambulance was called in yesterday to ferry a young girl involved in a car accident in Burnley to hospital in Manchester.
The four-year-old was left with serious injuries needing treatment at the Royal manchester Children’s Hospital after being hit by a car.
It is believed the youngster was hit by a black Vauxhall Zafira on the junction of Rylands Street and Briercliffe Road.
