Firefighters put out chip pan blaze
Fire crews were called out to deal with a chip pan fire at a Burnley home in the early hours of this morning.
Two fire engines and crews from Burnley responded to a 999 call at 1-40am reporting a house fire in Grange Street caused by a chip pan left on a cooker hob.
Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire. There were no casualties.
