Fire crews called out to second Burnley garage blaze this weekend

Two fire engines from Burnley attended a domestic garage fire on Norfolk Avenue in the town.

The incident, just after 4pm today (Sunday), involved the garage of a domestic property.

Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for half an hour.

The fire service advices you should have a smoke alarm fitted on each level of your property like the hallway and landing.

For example, any room where you smoke or leave appliances plugged in.
