A Burnley man has been charged with a string of ‘distraction’ burglaries and fraud offences across East Lancashire.

Following an investigation by the East Lancashire Target Team, Christopher McKillop (42) of Ennismore Street, Burnley, was arrested by officers from the East Lancashire Target Team in Carlisle on Wednesday.
McKillop has been charged with four distraction burglaries at houses in Blackburn, Rishton, Burnley and Ramsbottom, and 15 offences of fraud by false representation.
McKillop has been remanded to appear before Blackburn Magistrates’ Court today (Friday).
