Burnley bar The Circus Cafe Lounge in Bank Parade to re-open as INN The Doghouse micropub
A Burnley bar has a new team at the helm.
The lease for the Circus Cafe Lounge in Bank Parade has been taken over by Chorley Escape Bars Ltd based and is been re-launched as micropub INN The Doghouse.
Specialising in cask ales and craft beers, a full renovation of the bar is currently underway and plans are on the cards to open in the next couple of weeks. Kristian Dawber of Escape Bars Ltd said: “The Burnley bar is our sixth venue to open. We were attracted to this bar as it is in an up and coming area that is quite trendy. It will have a cosy, friendly atmosphere.”

The Circus Lounge opened four years ago and created a ‘Northern Quarter’ style vibe with neighbouring venue The Electric Circus. Owner Ray Harrison created ‘The Circ’ when he bought the former industrial warehouses and built up three venues including The Circ retro bar. The Electric Circus and The Circ retro bar will continue to operate as usual.
