There are plenty of budding scientists at St Mary’s RC Primary School in Osbaldeston.

Pupils recently took part in the Lancashire Science Festival at UCLan and tested their knowledge at a Science Quiz at St Augustine’s RC High School in Billington.

Headteacher Maria Coulthard said: “As a primary school, we don’t want science just to be taught out of a text book as we know, when our pupils go to high school, that they will start science experiments so we introduce them now and they love them.”
